Even though it's touristy, Schönbrunn Palace is a must see for anyone traveling through Vienna. It's mammoth. Literally, HUGE. Even if I were to live there for three years, I probably wouldn't be able to know my way around the gardens. We didn't go into the palace today because we didn't have our student discount passes, and Brother Minert said that when we go as a group, he pays... So I will see the inside! Just on Schönbrunn trip part two. :)
First view of Schönbrunn
That's not even a whole side of the palace.
Arch of ivy. These are everywhere!
View of part of Schönbrunn from the back
Imitating statues.
Down an alley of the garden. Look it up, it's like a maze!
Looking up from the Palace to the Gloriette and middle gardens
I have to put this on here, because it's probably one of my favorites so far :)
Looking down on the palace from the Gloriette.
Lunch on the hill! Not too long of a walk up, and it's SO worth it!
Part of the garden's view.
Bre and I finally went grocery shopping so we don't have to spend four or five euros for every meal... You'd be proud, mom! :)
